The story mory start when we decide have to find our wedding ring, me for myself do some research and digging basic info to know about diamond. Below short summary I understand.
Basically, you need to know 4Cs
- Cut
- Color
- Clarity
- Carat weight
Cut
Meaning you have to decide the cut of the diamond, the shape, and the quality. Shape can be vary but popular are Round brilliant, Princess, Emerald.
We went to almost to all jewelery shops located at Curve, Pavilion, One Utama. They are so many crap and jargon word use by them to ‘pancing’ /trap you ^_^. Such as Ideal Cut (expensive) Excellent Cut (usually offer this) & Good Make cut (which cheap2 one). So dont rush2 ah…
Color
Diamond got color? yeah they got color base on its quality
Expensive<———————————————–>Least Expensive
Clarity
Diamond also got flaw internal and external, but usually people buy SI1 or SI2, whereby its flawless in naked eye but got some flaw if you look under loupe. Since you not so kaya, then go for cun-naked-eye diamond ^_^
Carat
Lastly its weight/size of the diamond. The most popular size are 1/2 karat, 1 karat. Always look behind the diamond ring tag, 0.13, 0.28 etc. The higher the karat (also larger), the more expensive the price (calculate base on other 3Cs).
There you go, about Diamond, which I hope we will find the one she love to have it as a wedding ring hehehe.

err, surprisingly ur knowledge on this is more compared to me. and ironically, i am the one who’s gonna wear the ring! hehe.

cudnt agree more, Soo Kee’s one is the nicest BUT pricey. think i should start praying hard from now that u become rich, so that one fine day u are gonna buy that for me..ha ha. *wink wink* :kissed:
oh my, ure making me feel indecisive again. should we put on hold on this ring-hunting and wait? or not? am not sure D&P sales until when, but if the period lapse with the Habib’s sale, then it’s worth waiting. if not, we are gonna miss either or. it’s ur call.
